“Socially Responsive Artists” Composing Project, 2017

Washington, D.C.’s Tacoma Ensemble has commissioned Kim & Kathryn Kluge to create a piece to showcase their dynamic and innovative programming and virtuosic ensemble playing.

Consistent with the Kluges’ commitment to being “socially responsive” artists, this piece will be inspired by the most pressing social issues of our day.  The Kluges are working closely with the Tacoma Ensemble in leveraging the world premiere to create awareness and a call to action.
